Squeteague Sailmakers sail sticker with schooner logo

Squeteague Sailmakers opened on March 1, 1976 as the "Squeteague Sail and Canvas Company" in North Falmouth, MA. During the early years of the business the logo was a gaff rigged schooner to symbolize old-time craftsmanship and quality practiced at the loft. In 1989 when the loft (by then located in Cataumet) went to computerized sail design and plotting, the logo was changed to a marconi sail plan to symbolize the more modern approach.

Today the loft uses both logos. One symbolizes the superior design capabilities of computerization, while the other represents the quality, craftsmanship, and customer service that is still a hallmark of Squeteague Sailmakers.

The marconi logo sail sticker goes on most of the sails and canvas goods the loft builds, but the schooner logo sticker goes on the traditional gaff sails and canvas goods for traditionally rigged boats.
